Chelan County Public Utility District (PUD) has set up residential electric rates with a clear structure to address the increasing costs of essential services. On November 18th, the commissioners approved a two-year extension of the current rate plan, with a 3% increase for electric rates, effective in June 2025 and June 2026. For residential electric customers, this means an average increase of about $2 per month. Additionally, water and wastewater customers will see an increase of $3–4 per month.
