What is the Size & Weight of BLUETTI PV350 350Watt Solar Panel?

bluetti pv350 350watt solar panel size and weight

This is the largest portable solar panel Bluetti has ever made. The PV350 is is foldable up to 4 times and measures exactly 2400*905mm/94.4*35.6inch when unfolded and 905*613*65mm/35.6*24.1*2.5inch when folded.

It also sports a handle (like all the other models) making it portable.

You may be wondering just how heavy this beast is?

Well, it weighs 30.61 lbs or 14 kg. For reference, this is the equivalent weight of a mid-sized microwave or the yearly cheese intake of the average American.

A High Efficiency Solar Panel

The PV350 is made from the latest monocrystalline technology and has an excellent transparency of 95%.

Both these factors result in an efficiency rate of 23.4%.

On average monocrystalline solar panels have efficiency rates typically falling in between 15-20%.

Is the PV350 350 Watt Solar Panel Waterproof?

The PV350 uses long-lasting ETFE material on the surface, allowing you to clean it by simply using a wet cloth.

Lastly, it is important to note that the PV350 is IP65 water-resistant. This will protect it from any water splashing.

For a more in-depth breakdown of what IP65 entails see below:

IP Rating Protection Description Test Method
IP65 Enclosures Able to protect against water jets Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 15 minutes
Water volume: 12.5 litres per minute
Pressure: 30 kPa at distance of 3 m
IP66 Enclosures Able to protect against powerful water jets Water projected in powerful jets (12.5 mm nozzle) against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 3 minutes
Water volume: 100 litres per minute
Pressure: 100 kPa at distance of 3 m
IP67 Enclosures Able to protect against Immersion up to 1 m Ingress of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the enclosure is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1 m of submersion). Test duration: 30 minutes
Immersion at depth of at least 1 m measured at bottom of device, and at least 15 cm measured at top of device

How much power can the PV350 solar panel produce?

bluetti pv350 solar panel

This largely depends upon where in the world you use BLUETTI PV350.

The rule of thumb is simple, the more peak sun hours your area receives, the power your solar panel will be able to produce.

For example, if you were to use this solar panel in California it would produce a rough total of 564 kWh a year or on average 46 kWh a month. Obviously this amount fluctuates depending on the season.

If you were to use this solar panel in say Idaho, it would produce around 519 kWh a year.

As you can see, location matters.

However, keep in mind these averages were used using the Climatebiz Solar Calculator, which assumes a fixed setup with specific parameters which change depending on your input.

Being a portable solar panel you would move it to angle the sun for the most optimal power output.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for portable power, then this is 100% one of the best options out there.

Specifically, if you are wanting to charge your solar generator the fastest then opting for the PV350 over the PV200 & PV120 makes the most sense.
