3. If there is an outage in your area, you will see a larger red dot in the map. Note the size of the dot and the associated message that appears as you hover over it. This message will give you more details about the power outage, such as the number of customers affected and the estimated time of restoration.

Hundreds in Michiana Without Power Following Weekend Storms

In the wake of powerful storms that moved through the Michiana area over the weekend, hundreds are still without power. As of 5:30 PM on Sunday, Indiana Michigan Power recorded more than 260 outages in their coverage area; a significant drop in outages from the peak of 17,000.
