A:No, the AC60 isn't waterproof. However, it has an IP65 rating to protect it from water splashes and dust.
A:The IP or Ingress Protection Rating measures how resistant a device is to solids and water. The first digit of the rating indicates the level of protection of the enclosed device against the intrusion of foreign objects, such as dust, tools, or fingers. The second digit represents the protection level against moisture intrusion. And the IP65 rating means that the AC60 is protected from total dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
A:The AC60 supports a maximum input of 600W. Plug it into a wall outlet, turn on the Turbo Charging mode on the BLUETTI App, and you can charge it up in 1.2-1.7 hours.
A:These are the AC charging modes of the AC60. Each mode has a different input power and charging time, as shown in the table below. While the Silent charging mode is the quietest, with a noise level of no more than 45dB.
1. Total open circuit voltage: 12-28V
2. Max. input power: 200W
3. Equipped with MC4 connectors.
Highly Recommended:1× BLUETTI PV120: ≈ 3.9-4.3 hrs*.
1× BLUETTI PV200: ≈ 2.5-3 hrs*.
* For reference ONLY.
A: AC60 has a built-in intelligent BMS that automatically adjusts the charging power in response to the battery temperature and SoC, thus protecting the battery and extending its service life.
A:Yes.
A:Please evaluate the total constant load of your devices. If it doesn't exceed the Max. output power of AC60 (600W), you can use this power station to run your devices. Note: Some devices with built-in motor/compressor may start at 2-4 times the rated power, which can easily overload the AC60.
A:In this mode, the AC60 can run high-power heating devices up to 1,200W, such as space heaters, hair dryers, electric irons, etc. Do NOT use this unit to run an air conditioner or washing machine.
A:The AC60 has different running times depending on the device you're using it with.
For high-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ load power.
For low-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ (load power + self-consumption of AC60).
DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency.
For AC60, DoD is 90%, η is 90%, and self-consumption is about 10W.
E.g. If you run a 100W blender light with it, the running time will be:
403Wh × 90% × 90% ÷ (100W+10W) ≈ 3.0 hrs
Note:
1) The formula is NOT suitable for inductive loads with compressors, like refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
2) The above data is for reference ONLY.
A:You can use the AC60 to power your devices in cold weather, but please avoid recharging it below freezing.
The operating temperature ranges for AC60 are:
Charging: 0℃-40℃/32℉-104℉
Discharging: -20℃-40℃/-4℉-104℉
A: No. If the internal battery pack malfunctions, please contact BLUETTI Customer Service.
A:The AC60 should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place and recharged to 80% every 3-6 months.
A:Yes.
